Elizabeth brings four decades of experience to the care industry, qualifying as a Registered Nurse in London in 1984. With over 20 years in senior leadership, she combines clinical expertise with a natural warmth and a gift for connecting with people. Elizabeth’s extensive background ensures our residents receive expert care grounded in professional excellence, with a genuine heart for those in her care.

Christine brings a diverse and extensive background to our leadership team, beginning with a 20-year career in nursing before moving into education and training as a teacher and managing a health centre. This unique blend of clinical expertise and teaching skill allows her to mentor and train our staff to the highest standards. Her background ensures that every team member is expertly equipped to provide.

With over 25 years in the care industry, Cheryl leads with a dedicated focus on end-of-life care and maintains a rigorous standard for Health and Safety.

Asta brings a wealth of expertise to the team with over 15 years of experience. She plays a vital role in our clinical standards, with a primary focus on medication management.

Originally a nurse in her home country, Priscila offers over 20 years of care experience. She is a specialist in Dementia care, ensuring our residents receive tailored, compassionate support.

Drawing on a nursing background and over 20 years in the field, Sindu excels in Dementia care. At Eckling Grange, she is instrumental in maintaining our high standards for infection prevention and control.

Maribeth has over 25 years of experience in the sector. She is deeply passionate about person-centred care, focusing on creating unique care plans that reflect the individual needs and preferences of every resident.

Graham joined the Board in 2018 and has served as Chairman since 2021. With a professional background in education, he currently serves as a Chair of Governors for a local primary school and is a familiar face in the community through his regular preaching at various chapels. Graham is deeply committed to the spiritual life of the home. As Chairman, he focuses on ensuring that Eckling Grange remains a faithful and welcoming Christian community, providing leadership that honours the home’s long standing heritage and mission.

Richard brings over 30 years of legal expertise to the Board, having practiced as a solicitor and latterly a mediator practising in civil litigation and family work. With a commitment to the charitable sector, he has served as Chair of YMCA Norfolk and is currently their Safeguarding lead, alongside his role as Chair of King’s Lynn Foodbank. Having led services at Eckling Grange for many years, Richard joined as a Trustee in 2021, combining his legal and financial acumen with a devotion to Jesus Christ. Richard is also an elder and regular preacher at Hope Evangelical Church.

Born in France to missionary parents, Peter has a personal connection to the charity’s founding aims of providing a home for returning Christian Missionaries. He joined the Trustees in early 2024, bringing a wealth of practical expertise from a lifelong career in the electrical industry and over a decade as a business owner. Peter draws on his professional background to provide essential technical and facilities oversight, ensuring the home remains a well-maintained and safe environment for all residents.

Liz brings over 20 years of experience within the charity sector, following a successful career in banking. Currently managing a countywide service for families and young children, she specialises in volunteer engagement and workforce development. Liz is dedicated to creating enriching journeys for her team, focusing on building volunteer confidence and enhancing their skill sets.

Heather brings a longstanding association with Eckling Grane to her role as Trustee, having experienced the home’s care firsthand when some of her own family became residents here. She provides dedicated pastoral support for both residential and bungalow residents, ensuring a holistic approach to wellbeing. Committed to the home’s original mission, Heather focuses on maintaining the heart of the organisation, which is centred on providing loving care working through faith in Jesus Christ.

Tim joined the Board of Trustees in 2022, bringing a wealth of clinical experience to Eckling Grange. After training at medical school in London, he enjoyed a long career in NHS General Practice and also qualified in Occupational Health and Industrial Medicine, working across a variety of sectors. Tim committed his life to the Lord in his mid-20s and, after living in the Midlands and Cumbria, now resides near Norwich where he worships at Great Ellingham Baptist Church. Now retired, Tim feels privileged to contribute his medical and professional expertise to the community at Eckling Grange.
